Media, PA is celebrating the U.S. Open at Merion with special activities in June.


New Golf Mystery - LIVE On-Stage


Media Theatre in Media, PA will be performing Death on the 16th Fairway for ten performances in June.  Written by local playwright Arthur Leahy, this golf comedy tells the story of a mysterious death at Ryan's Way Country Club - the accusations begin to fly and mayhem ensues.

In addition, Jim “Sports” Kelly, will appear at the Media Theatre to perform the part of the narrator/forecaddie live and in-person. Kelly will be in Delaware County as part of his TV duties for ESPN as the U.S. Open comes to Merion in Ardmore.

Each performance of Death on the 16th Fairway at Media Theatre will have a designated charity – there will be fundraising opportunities and additional special guests each show.  See schedule below.

Dining Under the Stars

Media Borough has added extra nights to its usual Wednesday evening "Dining Under the Stars" schedule.  During Dining Under the Stars, State Street will be transformed into an outdoor bistro with dining and music all along Media's own "Restaurant Row"

Dining Under the Stars:

June 5, 10 (Monday), 11 (Tuesday), 12 (Wednesday), 19, 26.  5PM - 10PM each night (weather permitting)

Golf lessons, games and prizes

with PGA pros on 3 nights - June 10 - 12, 4-9 PM at 3 locations:

EAST - Veterans Square

WEST - Veterans Square and Plum Street Mall East

Special Free parking for Golf Month events:

The County Courthouse jury lot will be open to the public during Dining Under the Stars June 10, 11 & 12.  Front & Orange Streets.
